Job Description MRAEL is seeking a Business Trainee to commence in January 2020.

The Client:

Northern Queensland Primary Health Network (NQPHN) is a federally funded not-for-profit, that has been established with the key objectives of increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of primary health care for patients, particularly those at risk of poor health outcomes, and improving coordination and access to care in our community.

The Role

The Administration Officer Trainee is responsible for providing a professional and welcoming first point of contact for visitors and callers to the office, for support of facility management of the Mackay office, and for providing general administrative support to the Mackay office to ensure the smooth functioning of the office. The Administration Officer Trainee will also provide support for assisting with the coordination and logistics of projects and events delivered within the Mackay office or as directed by the Executive Director Mackay.

The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:

  • Previous work experience in an administration role would be highly regarded.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with high standard of professional presentation.

  • Demonstrate the ability to be part of a team and communicate effectively with other team members.

  • Ability to display written communication skills, with capability to develop skills in agenda preparation, minute taking, and correspondence preparation preferred.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and the ability to become proficient in other software programs as required.

  • Well-developed organisational and problem-solving skills.

  • A high level of attention to detail.
